Smells like spring!
I love the smell of lilacs in the spring! It reminds me of my grandma. She loved fresh flowers and lilacs and always had a vase of something, especially lilacs, on her dining table. Here are a few shots of the lilac bushes in my backyard!
I'm so jealous! We have bushes/trees down here called Crepe Myrtles that look like lilacs, but they don't smell the same. I really miss the lilacs. :-(
I love lilacs. In Colorado they bloom right around Mother's Day, so that is what I associate them with. For me, the smell of summer are Russian Olive trees.
